Trade show advertising is another excellent method of exposing your business to the masses. Most online businesses use online advertising exclusively and neglect to use more offline techniques to make themselves known. Trade shows have been used by many to get new customers and to network with others in the same industry.
Camelback Displays is one such company who provides a lot of trade show displays and products to offer anyone interested in them. When you come to the website there are probably close to 3 dozen categories and pages to look through on products such as trusses, flooring (that includes logo floor mats) and exhibit booths.
The website (in my opinion) is a little clunky as far as navigation. There isn’t any sense of order to all of the page links at the top of the homepage. You have to really know what you’re looking for if you want to find a product. The two suggestions I recommend is having main categories across the top with drop-down menus or list the few dozen categories in alphabetical order down the left side of the page.
Also there is no Home Page link at the top, so if you go to another page on the site and want to come back to the home page, you couldn’t get there easily unless you clicked on the Back button of your browser a number of times. This is typically too much work for Internet users.
The lower 2/3 of the website is excellent because there are full graphics of the products with adequate explanation of what the products will do and how much they cost. After going through the site I feel like Camelback Displays has everything I would need if I wanted to set up a trade show display. They appear to be a one-stop-shop for trade show displays and all supporting equipment.
There are some excellent resources online on how to run a successful trade show, so make sure you research so your trade show is profitable.
