Here in the U.S. (especially in my area) it’s time for the children to go back to school. Summer vacation is over. Staying up late past their normal bed time is over. It’s time for my children to get on a regular schedule so they can get enough sleep and rest to be at their best during school hours.

I have 7 children going back to school. This will be the first year for my youngest. She is 5 years old. She is very excited. She always smiling and skipping and you can see this bright light in her eyes.

“Daddy, I’m going to school!”

“Yes you are. Are you excited?”

“Oh yes. I have my backpack and everything!”

I’m excited, too because now I’ll have an empty house during the day. I can finally get some rest! lol

It was amazing to watch the kids this past weekend counting their school supplies and checking their lists to make sure they have everything. Sometimes there were even little fights.

“That’s mine!”

“No, that’s mine! Give it back!”

“No! I’m telling Mommy!”

“MOMMY!!!!”
